Media Information

Interviews

All interviews with Florida Polytechnic University coaches, student-athletes and Athletics Department staff must be coordinated through the Sports Information Office. Interview requests should be submitted at least 24 hours in advance to allow sufficient time for scheduling. Locker rooms are closed to members of the media before, during and after athletics events.

Postgame Interviews

Postgame interviews with coaches and student-athletes may be conducted in designated areas outside the locker rooms or on the playing surface following a minimum 10-minute cooling off period. All postgame interviews must be coordinated through the Sports Information Manager to ensure appropriate media access and minimize disruptions to coaches and student-athletes.

Game Day Coverage and Media Credentials

Media credentials may be issued to members of the media who submit a request to the Sports Information Office at least 24 hours before an athletic event. All media credential requests are subject to approval by the Sports Information Office.

The Sports Information Office will provide media representatives with team rosters, statistics, media guides and other relevant materials prior to games, as available. Official game statistics and results will be made available following the conclusion of each contest.

Press Conferences

The Sports Information Office will notify media outlets that regularly cover Florida Poly Athletics of scheduled press conferences as far in advance as practicable. Media representatives interested in receiving press conference notifications or other athletics news and updates may contact the Sports Information Office to request inclusion on its media distribution list.

Game Programs, Game Notes, and Media Information

Pregame materials, including game programs, team notes, rosters and other relevant information, may be requested through the Sports Information Office. If certain materials are not available, the office will make reasonable efforts to assist media representatives in obtaining the information needed for accurate reporting.

Photography and Image Use

Photographs published on Florida Polytechnic University's official athletic website may not be reproduced for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written authorization from the Sports Information Manager.

Live Statistics, Video Streaming, and Audio Coverage

The Sports Information Office will coordinate live video streaming, statistical updates and play-by-play audio coverage for Florida Poly Athletics home events. Live coverage and statistics will be made available through the University's official athletics website, subject to technical capabilities, staffing and event-specific considerations.
