Launching in Fall 2026, Florida Poly Athletics marks the inaugural athletics program at Florida Polytechnic University. Grounded in perseverance, precision, and pride, the program is an extension of the university’s forward-driven identity and will build momentum through performance and community.
Florida Poly Athletics will capture the competitive spirit of the Phoenix in its inaugural teams playing across baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, and softball.
Aligned with the mission of the university to define the future, the athletics program creates opportunities for student-athletes to compete at the collegiate level while pursuing a rigorous, STEM-focused education.
Florida Poly Athletics will be grounded in three core values that define how we compete and represent the University. These values establish a shared code to guide how we rise together.
We rise to the challenge with strength and purpose.
Challenge is not a barrier, but a catalyst for growth. Our athletes meet adversity and opportunity with fierce determination — carrying the Phoenix spirit into every moment of competition.
We rise to excellence with focused precision.
The commitment to precision elevates performance and creates a standard of excellence. We develop athletes who compete with clarity, discipline, and intention.
We rise together with pride to carry the Phoenix spirit.
Across teams and fans, we are proud to carry the Phoenix identity forward with integrity and energy. Together, we create a culture where every voice and victory unites us as one.
Florida Poly Athletics will launch with eight teams — baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, and softball.
Florida Poly Athletics is progressing towards membership in the Sun Conference of the NAIA.
Membership with the NAIA opens the door for student-athletes to compete at the collegiate level, earn athletics scholarships, and thrive academically at one of Florida’s premier STEM institutions.
Be part of the first generation of Florida Poly student-athletes. Compete at the collegiate level, pursue a cutting-edge STEM degree, and help shape the future of Phoenix Athletics.
